After a long forgotten promise... I'm back to post "life lately as per iPhone pictures". A brief re-cap... I was working and staying in Kuwait last year.... then decided to quit my job and to stay with my husband.. who had been staying in Taiwan for past 1.5 years.
After running around, packing, unpacking and re-packing from Kuwait - India and then for Taiwan.. I reached Taiwan in Nov '12. Stayed in Taipei for a month and then went back to India to renew my visa.... I had a wonderful month long stay in India :-) Although I'm back in Taiwan again now... I would post some pictures from my trip in India and would then hopefully come back soon with another picture post for Taiwan :-)
Enjoyed shopping for vegetables back home :-) It might sound lame... but I just LOVE the fresh veggies u get to buy back home... specially the red carrot... dunno why doesn't the rest of the world have it... I've only found Orange colored carrot in the places I've traveled so far...
Drove a lot on Foggy winter mornings... and loved it.... Nothing can beat driving with good music :-D
Saw a road FINALLY being made in front of my house in Ghaziabad.... And now I can drive straight to my home rather than driving around the crater-shaped potholes :-P
Ate a lot of Gajjak (A North-Indian sweet prepared in winters with sesame seeds and sticky jaggery). I saw how it's made for the first time and was fascinated by it... You can check my post on Instagram about it :-)

Landed in Delhi while Delhi was literally on fire after a horrible gang-rape case. Delhi feels quite unsafe now. A few years back I was upset on leaving Delhi and moving to Ghaziabad after I got married because Ghaziabad was one of the most unsafe places to stay due to high crime rate. But now I don't feel sorry not for staying in my favorite city anymore, which is quite sad !!

Braved harsh North-Indian winter and chilly wind... saw temperature dropping to OMG so low level !! Loved wearing hand-knitted sweater my mom made for me and wearing at least 3 layers before venturing out ;-)
It was a fun trip and hope to go out of Delhi when I visit it next.... Till then I'm making plans to visit a couple of places in Taiwan during the upcoming Chinese New Year. If anyone can recommend places to visit in Taipei and Taiwan, please do so :-)
P.S. This is the first time I've put up a photo blog... and I'm loving it... I might continue doing this a lot... so beware :-D
