People in Kuwait are.... just different !
I recently moved to Kuwait and was informed that "Q8" on websites means "Kuwait"...
There's a limit to shortcuts... Kuwait is not really that long a word that it had to be cut down to Q8... anyhow......
Since I've arrived, music and books are my best friends again!
If I had to chose one song per day then my list would go something like this...
>Tragedy by Bee Gees (the day I arrived and was missing my family)
>>I have a dream by Abba (my first day at work)
More of them to come in coming days... :-P
I've been around for sometime now in Q8 (yes, I'm using the acronym too :) ), and feel confident enough to venture out alone on my own...
Thanks to the blogs I follow, I got to know about a Re-sale Boutique open today for a good cause... and I'll be visiting them today :-)
Btw... Kuwait Times said there might be a sand storm today coming in from Iraq's direction... hope to be back inside my apartment safely by then....
